We made it to 2022! Happy New Year!

We made it to 2022! Not an easy task considering the global situation, travel restrictions and much more. 2021 proved to be a really tough cookie to crack so let us wish for 2022 to provide some slack!

The north hemisphere is in winter-mode, although our southern friends in New Zealand are getting ready for a full sailing reboot by means of a Rally to Fiji and New Caledonia in May 2022. Well done "Kiwis"! Let the easy-going pre-2020 sailing days be back for us all!

Back on our corner, TheBoatApp is already in v2.1 and the work does not stop, as you may see in our online Changelog where we publish regularly all the fixes, updates and additions performed. We are running the platform development engine in full capacity and here is a heads-up for 2022. During Q1 we expect to launch TheBoatDB v2, on a brand new and modern user-interface, much more appealing to the eye and easy to use. For Q2 we plan to release the iOS & Android Mobile Apps v2, as completely rewritten apps. Stay tuned for more.

What is great and we are proud of, is that we get much feedback from users like YOU! We read all messages received and we answer each one in details. Some are for bugs and fixes needed (...sadly, software will always have some of these!), other are ideas and proposals of what we can improve or what we should add. For all these, we keep detailed notes on our software planning & development online tools to make sure that no good idea will go wasted. Furthermore, we intended to do so publicly so that you will be able to post your idea/proposal and get feedback from us as well as from fellow sailors. This will help by prioritizing the "hottest" ideas and seeing how we may bring them to you soon than later. As always, reach out to us on Support@MarineDataCloud.com.

We are grateful to our Gold subscribers for supporting the platform and we call the rest of you to join them, get extra features and more importantly support the platform, for us to keep developing and adding new features on TheBoatDB and TheBoatApp. YOU are the wind on our sails!
